Q: What is the Buckaroo?
A: An annual auction hosted by the Penryn PTC to raise funds for school programs, curriculum enhancements, teacher training, field trips, campus improvements, and community events.
Q: When & where?
A: Friday, March 13th, at The Blue Goose, 3550 Taylor Road, Loomis. Doors open at 5:00 PM.
Arrive by 5:30 PM to receive a FREE Golden Drink Ticket!
Q: Who can attend?
A: Parents, teachers, staff, and community members supporting Penryn Elementary.
Q: How do I buy tickets & cost?
A: Online at https://givebutter.com/c/buckaroo2026. $70 per person. Sales end March 6th or whenever sold out.
Q: What is a Friends & Family Table?
A: Reserved seating for 8 people — enjoy the event together with friends or family.
Q: Are sponsorships available?
A: Yes! Corporate sponsorships are offered — see our website for details.
Q: How do you bid?
A: When buying tickets, you’ll create an account and enter billing info. This enables online bidding for silent auctions. You may also pay with a check at the end of the event.
Auction Types:
In-Person Silent Auction: Electronic bidding; items for ticketed guests only.
Online Silent Auction: Open to all; includes teacher experiences, signage, 1 upper parking space, and other items. No lower-lot spots. Closes Sat, March 14th, 7 PM.
Live Auction: In-person for ticket holders; must be present. Features big items, class projects, and 1 lower-lot parking space.
Raffles & Games:
General Raffle: 25+ prizes. Tickets: $10 for 10 / $20 for 25 / $75 for 100.
VIP Parking Raffle: lower-lot parking space; $100 per ticket, limited to 30 tickets. First-come, first-served basis; sold only at the event—no limit on the number of tickets purchased per family.
All raffle tickets will be sold at the event. Credit Card only.
Bead Game: A "Heads or Tails" game using beaded necklaces sold for $5 each. Each bead is a chance to stay in. Players guess heads (hands on head) or tails (hands on hips). Wrong guesses lose a bead; last player standing wins a prize or splits the pot. More beads = more chances to stay in!
Q: Is this family-friendly?
A: No — 21+ / adults-only.
Q: What items will be auctioned?
A: Vacation packages, experiences, gift baskets, teacher experiences, signage, parking spaces, and more.
Q: Will food & drinks be provided?
A: Your ticket includes a delicious dinner, dessert, and non-alcoholic drinks. A full cash bar is also available.
Q: How does this benefit the school?
A: All proceeds support PTC programs, field trips, teacher training, and campus improvements.
Q: Can I donate items?
